The next meeting of Upper Noe Neighbors happens Wednesday, July 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Upper Noe Recreation Center, 295 Day Street at Sanchez.

Our agenda will be as follows:

** AT&T spoke to us a couple of years ago about the U-Verse street-level boxes they wanted to install throughout the City. That’s now coming to fruition and we’ll get an update on the final locations set for Noe Valley. Come and see what they’ve got planned for a street near you. If you have concerns about what they’ll be doing and where, let them know.

** Just One Tree: the promotion of fruit tree production in S.F. is a program of the non-profit Urban Resource Systems. Its goal is fostering community resilience through this effort, especially when it comes to lemons, the focus of their campaign. Founder, Isabel Wade (who also helped start Friends of the Urban Forest and Neighborhood Parks Council) will talk about this program, how to participate and the benefits of doing so.
