At our community meeting/party on November 19, we heard about how much you love the safety and walkability of our neighborhood, our rec center, cafes and shops, and how they build community. Folks would like to see more of our empty shops put to use, more night life, speedy sidewalk repairs, and better street lighting.

The decorative lighting and banners on Church Street were first steps, and we are committed to doing more to encourage vitality. As conversation flows while we all mix and mingle, please send your ideas and thoughts to hello@uppernoeneighbors.com so we can gather them and plan a path for achieving our neighborhood goals for 2026.

We also discussed historical preservation and landmarks that have recently been proposed, such as St. Paul’s Church. That conversation can continue into the new year.
